Being Helpful

OK, so my last post was somewhat uncharacteristic and resulted in a flurry of behind-the-scenes inquiries from friends and family.

“Is Alan OK?”

“What happened?”

“Why is he so upset?”

And so on.

Allow me to clarify: I am OK.  I wasn’t upset at my recent appointment because I got “bad” news.  Rather, I was upset at the way the appointment went. I was hoping my drain would come out.  It didn’t.  I was hoping my surgeon would be a bit more helpful in terms of wound care.  He wasn’t.  That’s all.  That’s the sum of it.

One of my friends, upon hearing that I was upset due to my surgeon’s approach to wound care, immediately offered his help and sent the following image to prove he was at the ready:

My friend wants to help!

I’m not one to comment publicly to pretty much anything ever, however I must make an exception at this time.
Whoever your friend is who responded with that pic… is very funny.

Your friend forgot to include duct tape in the picture. That pretty much fixes everything!
Hope your next appointment brings good results.
Much love to you and Tammy.
